As I begin the second year of my term as HAHPERD President, I want to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to the hard working and dedicated professionals on the HAHPERD Board that served you the membership, this past year. They served well and it was truly an awesome year!

AHA - FIT Kids Act

The Fitness Integrated with Teaching Kids Act (FIT Kids) would amend the No Child Left Behind Act to help prioritize quality physical education in our schools. Join in our effort to urge Congress to pass this legislation to provide more physical education for our kids and help them lead healthier lives.

Do you know a student who needs financial aide to attend college?

The Hawaii Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance offers two $750 scholarships for high school seniors and two $1250 scholarships for college/university students for the 2008-2009 school year who are interested in pursuing a career in teaching health, physical education, dance or recreation.
