HAHPERD Scholarships Available

The Hawaii Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance offers two $750 scholarships for high school seniors and two $1250 scholarships for college/university students for the 2008-2009 school year who are interested in pursuing a career in teaching health, physical education, dance or recreation.

The applicant must have been enrolled in any recognized high school in Hawaii for a minimum of two years. Complete application procedures and forms may be obtained at the end of this article or by contacting Jewel Toyama at:

Applicants may reapply for this scholarship annually.
